Robert Conner PT, MPT, CSCS, FAFS, FMR, 3D MAPS.
Robert is coming to CSO Physical Therapy with 15 years of clinical and managerial experience and in this time, he has had the privilege of treating many patients from many walks of life. Robert has worked with all levels of patients from high-level athletes, geriatrics, post-surgical, and weekend warriors looking to maintain and stay fit. Robert received a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University (Rochester, MI).
After completing his graduate degree, Robert worked in outpatient sports medicine clinics and started a personal training business, where he performed in-home training sessions with clients of all ages. Robert has continued his education over the years with post-graduate certifications and coursework geared towards maximizing human movement and function. Robert holds certifications in Functional Manual Reaction, 3-dimensional Movement Analysis & Performance System, and has completed a 40-week Fellowship of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Graston Technique practitioner, and Kinesio taping.
Robert is also a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator (FCE) for Workers’ Compensation clients, offering thorough assessments to determine the clients’ return-to-work readiness and developing work conditioning programs to build the strength needed to stay injury-free. Along with many other courses geared towards Orthopedic Spinal and Extremity manipulation, Robert is currently continuing his education at St. Augustine University, working on his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2018), with a concentration in Primary Care Physical Therapy. In 2008, business growth and marriage brought Robert to the Chicagoland area. Robert continued treating patients in outpatient orthopedic and home care settings.
His work also continued in strength conditioning with private clients looking to enhancing their physical strength and function. Robert looks forward to working with the CSO Physical Therapy Family, assisting all patients in reaching their optimal levels of function and wellness.
